The Last Rye is the fourth and final release in Kentucky Owl's aged rye series. It is a blend of Kentucky straight rye bottled at 112.8 proof, or 56.4% ABV.
The whisky was matured in new charred oak barrels, with the blend made up of 10-year-old rye and whiskey aged for more than 13 years. Kentucky Owl was founded in 1879 by Charles Mortimer Dedman, and this batch was released under Master Blender Dixon Dedman.
It is described as a sweet, full-flavoured rye.
