Kentucky Peerless Bourbon Whiskey (75cl)

Kentucky Peerless is a barrel-proof Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered, in a 75cl bottle. The strength varies by batch and is stated on each label. It is distilled at the Peerless distillery in Louisville using a sweet-mash process. The name dates to pre-Prohibition Kentucky and Henry Kraver's distillery. Fourth-generation family members Corky and Carson Taylor revived it, and began distilling in Louisville in 2015. Each bottle is a small-batch blend chosen by the family. The flavour is rich caramel and vanilla, with deep oak and baking spice, and a long, warming finish with plenty of barrel character.
