Peerless Toasted is a straight bourbon from Kentucky, aged in two separate oak barrels.
It first spends time in a standard barrel with a level three char, which develops flavours of caramel, brown sugar and toffee. The bourbon is then moved into a toasted barrel to finish, adding honey, vanilla, toasted spices and chocolate.
This two-barrel ageing gives the bourbon a more elevated nose and palate.
