Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2025 Release is a ten-year-old Islay single malt, and the distillery's first ten-year-old release. It is named after the loch that looks over the distillery.
The whisky was matured entirely in Oloroso sherry butts and is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. Islay peat smoke sits alongside a rich, nutty sweetness.
The nose offers charred oak, smoked chocolate and roasted nuts. On the palate there are dried figs, clove and nutmeg, wrapped in velvety peat smoke and caramelised sugar. The finish is long, with a hint of lemon peel.
