This is an 11 year old single malt from Kilchoman, made from barley harvested on Islay in 2011, 2012 and 2013. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The whisky matured entirely in 16 first-fill Oloroso sherry butts from José y Miguel Martin in Jerez. That sets it apart from the 100% Islay releases matured in bourbon casks.
It is described as rich and full-bodied, with deep notes of dark fruits, spice and smoked meat.
