This is the 12th Edition of Kilchoman's 100% Islay single malt, a limited release bottled at 50% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky was matured in 29 bourbon casks and 6 Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose offers elegant, sweet peat smoke, followed by citrus and honey, ending in vanilla and salted caramel. On the palate the peat smoke returns and stays, with an oily texture that gives a creamy profile balanced by toffee and caramelised sugar.
