Kilchoman – 100% Islay 9 Year Old Edition 14 (2024 Release) (70cl, 50%)

This is the 14th edition of Kilchoman's 100% Islay single malt, and the first in the series to carry an age statement. It was matured for nine years in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at a cask strength of 50%, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was distilled from barley grown at the distillery in the 2013 and 2014 harvests, with every stage of production carried out on Islay. Vanilla, butterscotch and rich fruit are described, set alongside natural citrus sweetness and floral peat smoke.
