Kilchoman 100% Islay Sister Cask 650 is a single cask Islay single malt, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2024 after nine years in a first-fill bourbon cask. It is one of the oldest remaining single casks in the 100% Islay approach, a single farm malt made from barley grown and malted at Kilchoman. Kilchoman calls casks that were distilled and filled on the same day sister casks, which makes the influence of the cask easy to see. The partner of this one is cask 653. The smoke level is 20ppm, lighter than is usual for Kilchoman. It is bottled at a cask strength of 55.3%, in an outturn of 200 bottles.
