Kilchoman – 100% Islay (70cl, 50%)

Kilchoman 100% Islay is an Islay single malt bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The barley is grown, malted, distilled, matured and bottled on Islay, at the farm distillery that was established in 2005. It is peated to a lower level than the other Kilchoman releases, which gives a lighter, fresher feel. The first edition came in 2010, and a new one has followed every year since. Citrus and lemon notes come through with soft peat smoke, followed by a long, smooth finish.
