This is the 2025 release of Kilchoman's 13 year old single malt from Islay, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It spent thirteen years in a mix of ex-bourbon barrels, bourbon octaves and Calvados casks, and combines green apple freshness, floral notes and refined peat smoke.
The nose shows lemon zest, green apple and sea breeze. The palate is rich with orchard fruit, honeyed malt and delicate floral notes, alongside gentle maritime smoke and toasted oak. The finish is long, with hints of baked apple and crushed white pepper.
