This is a single cask Islay single malt from Kilchoman, distilled on 4 December 2008 and bottled on 5 February 2024 at cask strength, 52.4% vol, in a 70cl bottle.
It spent all 15 years in an Oloroso sherry cask, a full maturation rather than a finish. The malt was peated to 50ppm, so the whisky is strongly smoky. It is the first of a pair of sister casks from the Oloroso series, the other being cask 639/2008, and 302 bottles were filled. It is bottled without colouring and without chill-filtration.
