Kilchoman – 16 Year Old (50%)

Kilchoman 16 Year Old is the first age-stated single malt from the Islay distillery, and the oldest bottling it has released. Founder Anthony Wills chose the 21 casks himself, mostly ex-bourbon with a smaller share of Oloroso sherry casks. The smoke level is a heavy 50ppm, in keeping with the distillery's style. The whisky is bottled at 50% without colouring and without chill-filtration, in an outturn of 5000 bottles.
