Kilchoman Batch Strength is an Islay single malt bottled at 57% vol. It was matured in re-charred red wine, oloroso and bourbon casks, and joins Sanaig and Machir Bay in the distillery's core range. It will appear in successive batches.
The nose has red fruits, cherry, heather flowers and strong peat smoke. The palate brings rich spice, caramel and buttered toffee, vanilla and lingering peat smoke. The finish is silky and creamy, with fresh flatbread, butter and honey.
