Kilchoman – Batch Strength (57%)

Kilchoman Batch Strength is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky that sits in the distillery's core range alongside Machir Bay and Sanaig. It is named in spirit after Rory, the distillery's bull, and is meant to show its power and intensity. Master Distiller Anthony Wills created it from a combination of re-charred red wine, Oloso and bourbon casks. It is bottled at 57%, unfiltered and with natural colour. It is usually described as dark fruits, honey and spice, set against intense peat smoke.
