Kilchoman – Fino Sherry Matured 2023 (50%)

This is a Kilchoman single malt from Islay, matured in Fino sherry butts and released as a limited edition in 2023. It is bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky spent at least five years in 20 Fino sherry butts, hand-picked at Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin. The Fino casks are described as adding minerality and notes of oak and maple syrup, alongside Kilchoman's natural citrus sweetness and maritime peat smoke.
