Kilchoman – Loch Gorm 10 Years Old 2025 Edition

This is the 2025 edition of Kilchoman Loch Gorm, the first time the Islay distillery has released it with an age statement. It matured for at least 10 years in oloroso sherry butts from the Bodega José y Miguel Martín. Founder Anthony Wills chose a combination of 23 butts, 20 of them first fill and three second fill. The first fill casks bring a juicy, sweet and intense character of dark fruit and rich spice, set against Kilchoman's peat smoke and citrus notes. The malt is peated to 50ppm.
