Kilchoman – Loch Gorm Edition 2023 (70cl, 46%)

Loch Gorm is Kilchoman's annual limited release, named after the dark, peaty loch that the Islay distillery looks over. The 2023 edition is a single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV, matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks. It was put together from 22 casks: eight distilled in 2013, six in 2014 and eight in 2015. Each was picked for its own flavour profile, and together they are meant to balance a rich, fruity character with layers of classic Kilchoman peat smoke and citrus sweetness.
