This is an 11 year old Islay single malt from Kilchoman, a core range release that follows the 100% Islay series. It is named after Rockside Farm, where the distillery stands and where the barley is grown. The barley is lightly peated to 20 ppm.
The whisky matured in a combination of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at 46%, without added colouring and without chill-filtration.
It is described as light peat smoke with tropical fruit, citrus sweetness and a pleasant spiciness.
