Kilchoman – Sanaig (46%)

Kilchoman Sanaig is a single malt Scotch from the Kilchoman distillery on Islay, bottled at 46%. Most of it matured in former sherry casks, which gives the whisky a dark colour and a pronounced sherry character. The nose combines sherry, dried fruit and dark chocolate with some vanilla and the typical peat smoke. On the palate sweetness is paired with smoke, and the same aromas return. The finish is smoky and sweet.
