Kilchoman – Small Batch French Inspiration Bourbon / Oloroso / Sauternes (70cl, 49.1%)

Kilchoman Small Batch French Inspiration is an Islay single malt first created for the French market. This is the second small batch bottling, in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 49.1%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. It was matured mostly in Bourbon barrels (75%), with Sauternes wine casks (20%) and a small share of Oloroso sherry casks (5%). The distillery combined rare casks from its own stock for the release. Apricot and honey come together with white grapes and gentle touches of peat smoke.
