Kilkerran 12 Year Old is the flagship expression of the Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, and marks a milestone in the distillery's revival. It is a 12 year old single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.
It combines light peat smoke with maritime saltiness and the oily, fruity character of Campbeltown malts. Sweet vanilla, citrus and subtle earthy peat are described alongside.
