Kilkerran 8 Year Old is a single malt from Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland, matured for eight years in bourbon casks. This is the 2026 release of an annual bottling, offered in a 70cl bottle at a natural cask strength of 57.7% ABV.
The nose opens with butterscotch, custard creams and apple butter, followed by white miso, cream sponge and poached pear. On the palate, creamy shortbread and caramel chocolate sit alongside gooseberries, white grapes, cigar box smoke and sandalwood. The finish brings green peppercorn and honeydew melon, ending on a lingering ashy note.
