Kilkerran 8 Year Old Cask Strength is a Campbeltown single malt made from lightly peated barley.
On the nose the peat is clear from the start, alongside green apple, rhubarb crumble, stewed rhubarb, vanilla and all-butter shortbread. The palate is earthy and salty, with icing sugar, puff candy, milk chocolate and walnut.
The finish keeps the peat, with soot, pencil shavings and a malty note touched by liquorice.
