This is the second release in the Kilkerran Work in Progress series, a single malt from the Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown. It is bottled at 46% and was matured in American oak.
The June 2010 edition formed part of a release of 15,000 bottles, in 70cl bottles.
Kilkerran is described as very smooth, rich in cereal and honey, with hints of candied fruit. A gentle coastal influence builds towards a sweet, grassy finish.
