Pangur is a 50-50 collaboration between two distilleries just across a lough from one another, bringing together two Irish poitíns. A ten-week rest in an ex-bourbon cask adds gentle smoke while preserving its distinctly Irish poitín character.
Fresh rosemary and cardamom aromas lead into understated vegetal and herbal notes, followed by a soft, creamy texture and a subtle smoky close. It is bottled at 47% ABV in a 700 mL bottle.
