King Robert II is a blended Scotch whisky from Ian Macleod Distillers, the company that owns Glengoyne and Tamdhu. It has spent at least three years in oak casks and comes in a 70cl bottle at 40%.
The nose brings apple, wood, smoke, fruit and spice. The palate runs through fruit, wood, apple, chocolate and spice, with a touch of coconut. The finish is long and full, with wood, spice, coconut and fruit, leaving a soft aftertaste.
