Kirin Fuji Sanroku Tarujuku Japanese Blended Whisky (70cl, 50%)

Kirin Fuji Sanroku Tarujuku is a Japanese blended whisky in a 70cl bottle, made at the Kirin Group's Fuji Gotemba distillery, which opened in 1973. Fuji Sanroku means "at the foot of Mount Fuji", and the distillery's water comes from rain and melted snow from the mountain's summit. The blend centres on medium and heavy grain whiskies with a small peated malt component. Blender Jota Tanaka chose to bottle it at 50% ABV and without chill-filtering, in a release first made in March 2016. Maturation usually takes place in ex-bourbon barrels.
