Kirin Fuji Single Grain Japanese Whisky (70cl)

Kirin Fuji Single Grain is a Japanese single grain whisky from the Fuji Gotemba distillery, founded in 1970 at the foot of Mount Fuji. It was created by Kirin's master blender, Jota Tanaka, and comes in a 70cl bottle. It blends three grain whiskies: a light one distilled in column stills, a medium one from a batch kettle still and an intense one from a double still. The nose is floral, with pear pie, candied chestnut and orange peel. On the palate come poached pears, apple compote and dark chocolate, with touches of cinnamon and toasted rye bread. The finish fades gently, leaving tannins and incense.
