Knockando 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from Knockando Distillery, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is chill-filtered and has added colour.
The whisky matures in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, which bring together the fruitiness of Speyside malt with sweet spice, dark chocolate, sherry and wood. It is not a smoky whisky.
The nose is expressive, with cooked fruit, sweet spices, dark chocolate and sherry. The palate is intense and silky, with strong fruit, wood and a clear sherry influence. The finish is long, with wood, sweet spices and fruity sherry notes.
