This is a 15 year old malt from the Knockando distillery in Speyside, bottled at 43% ABV. It was matured in two types of cask, sherry casks and refill bourbon casks.
Using two different cask types gives the whisky a rich and wide aromatic range.
It is typically described as having notes of stewed fruit and mild spices, with that aromatic richness running through.
