A 21 year old Knockando Master Reserve from the 1989 vintage, a single malt from Speyside. It is a vatting of first-fill bourbon, refill bourbon and sherry casks.
This bottle comes from the second of two bottlings of the 1989 vintage, made in 2012 after the first in 2010.
The finish is long, soft, woody and spicy, with notes of nuts, honey, cocoa and dried fruit.
