A 10-year-old Speyside single malt from Knockdhu, bottled in 2024 by Cadenhead's for its Original Collection. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in bourbon casks and finished in fino sherry, which gives a fresh, dry style rather than a sweet or heavy sherried one.
The nose shows green apple, citrus, malt and light floral notes, with a subtle nutty touch. The palate is dry and taut, with lemon peel, white grapes, a hint of almond and delicate spice. The finish is dry, medium in length and elegant, with a mineral note.
