This is a 10-year-old Knockdhu from the Highlands, a single cask from That Boutique-y Whisky Company's Wormtub series. It matured for ten years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead and was bottled at 58.9% without chill-filtration. 324 bottles were filled.
Honey, marzipan and dark chocolate lead the nose. On the palate come creamy caramel and toffee with lively orange peel and roasted hazelnuts. The finish is long, with pepper, cinnamon, orange marmalade and a woody depth.
