This is a single cask Knockdhu from Speyside, selected by Best Dram. The whisky was distilled in August 2014, matured for eleven years in a first-fill Amontillado sherry hogshead, cask #351, and bottled on 23 April 2026. Only 279 bottles were filled.
It is bottled at a cask strength of 55.4% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The nose brings roasted hazelnuts, stewed fruit, grilled apple rings, cane sugar and milk chocolate. On the palate come hazelnut, milk chocolate and wafer, with grilled apple and cane sugar in a creamy, spicy texture.
