This is an 11 year old Knockdhu single malt from Speyside, bottled in September 2022 by Cadenhead's for its Original Collection. It is bottled at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a combination of 30% bourbon casks and 70% Madeira casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose has ripe yellow fruit, honey, citrus, soft malt and a hint of raisin. The palate is fresh and smooth, with apple, pear, light caramel, subtle spice and a soft, wine-like sweetness. The finish is medium long and slightly dry, with fruit and a Madeira touch.
