Krinnawible "Leth Dusan" 2017 6 Year Old

This is Leth Dusan, the first 6 year old single malt in the Krinnawible series, distilled in Vorarlberg by Gerhard Kreutz. It was distilled in June 2017 and bottled on 2 July 2023. The whisky matured in a 55-litre American white oak bourbon cask at Koblacher Kummenberg, then spent three months in a refill PX sherry cask. The nose is fresh, with citrus drops, orange zest, stone fruit and wine gums, alongside the familiar Krinnawible notes of dunnage warehouse and gentle smoke. The palate is full and elegant, with a pleasant peppery spice, juicy green malt and citrus. A hint of tobacco runs through the lingering finish.
