This single malt was distilled in Vorarlberg by Gerhard Kreutz on 6 June 2019 and bottled on 5 March 2023. It is the fifth release in the Krinnawible series, issued in spring 2023 as Small Batch Release 19/PX01. Only 88 numbered bottles were filled. The whisky matured in a refill PX sherry octave. The nose offers candied apricots, citrus and ripe banana with a touch of salted caramel. The palate is full and fruity, with dark chocolate and a salty-sweet barbecue glaze note. Smoke arrives late in a lasting finish, with the spice of crushed black pepper.
