Krinnawible 'Uiseag' is a whisky from the Krinnawible range, distilled in Vorarlberg by Gerhard Kreutz in June 2018 and bottled on 5 March 2024. The name stands for glowing embers. Only 96 bottles were filled. It matured in a 55-litre Laphroaig firkin at the Koblacher Kummenberg. The nose opens with cold ash, then softens into floral notes, damp grass and sea salt. The palate starts lightly before the flavour returns in a wave, with wisps of smoke, dunnage warehouse and the glow of a dying campfire, which lingers.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
