Kura The Whisky Pure Malt is a blended malt from the Helios Distillery on Okinawa Island, Japan, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from malted barley, yeast and water, and the malts in the blend are aged for up to 18 years.
The nose is heather honey and yuzu with flowers and a little vanilla. The palate opens with butterscotch and vanilla, joined by Japanese citrus, and the finish brings caramel, green notes and tropical fruit with vanilla.
