Kura The Whisky Rum Cask Finish Helios Distillery Blended Malt Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Kura Rum Cask Finish is a Japanese blended malt from Helios Distillery in Nago, on Okinawa Island, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The malt whiskies in the blend are aged for up to 18 years, with the youngest at three years. They rest in American oak barrels, then spend a second period in the distillery's own Japanese rum barrels, a nod to Helios's origins as a rum producer. It is described as balanced, with hints of tropical fruit, vanilla and seaweed.
