Crimson Jam is a Tasmanian blended malt from Lark Distillery's Kurio range, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It blends Tasmanian single malts that were finished in Tasmanian cherry casks and in casks seasoned with sparkling wine.
The result pairs jammy sweetness with apple-wood smoke. It can be served neat, over ice or in a Highball or Old Fashioned.
The palate brings honeyed apricot, a hint of nutmeg and black forest cake. The finish runs to cherry jam, custard and mocha.
