Whisky of Blood is a limited Game of Thrones edition from Kyrö, dedicated to House Targaryen. This Finnish rye is made entirely from malted rye and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour. It was released in 2026.
It matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and French oak casks. The character is unpeated, with fruity sweetness, grain notes and gentle rye spice.
The nose offers light grain notes beside tonka bean and sweet chestnut, with a hint of apple and apricot and some beeswax. On the palate, fruity sweetness meets mild rye spice, roasted chestnuts, crème brûlée and toasted grain. The finish is long and spicy, with rye, tonka bean and vanilla.
