La Bota de Malt Whisky Bota No. 66 is a single-cask Spanish malt whisky, selected and bottled by Equipo Navazos. It is made entirely from malted barley grown and distilled in Castilla la Vieja.
The whisky was aged for approximately 12 years, the last 7 of them in a single cask that had previously held an old dry Oloroso sherry solera in Jerez.
The nose brings honey, sweet tobacco, cocoa, caramel, walnuts, dried fruit and leather. The palate is led by dried fruit, toasted walnuts and sweet spice, with pronounced Oloroso character. The finish is long and warming, with lingering sweetness, nuts and oak.
