La Bota de Malt Whisky Bota No. 89 (70cl)

This is a single-cask Spanish grain whisky selected by Equipo Navazos, in a 70cl bottle. It was made from malted grain grown and distilled in Castilla la Vieja, then matured in Jerez. Its age is thought to be around 14 years, spent in a single cask that previously held very old dry Oloroso Sherry. The nose brings roasted grain, tobacco, honey, dried fruit and subtle smoke. The palate shows honeyed grain sweetness, toasted cereal, nuts, dry Sherry, spice and a light smoky character. The finish is smooth and lingering, with spice, saline notes, seasoned oak and gentle sweetness.
