This is a 13 year old Linkwood single malt from Speyside, bottled independently by La Maison du Whisky for its Artist Collective. It was distilled in 2006, matured in sherry-seasoned oak and bottled at 58.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
On the nose, floral aromas sit alongside ripe orchard fruit, a little tropical fruit, sweet malt and gentle oak. The palate is full-bodied, with malted cereals, ripe mango, guava, floral sweetness and warming spice, plus caramel and liquorice. The finish is long and warming, with caramel, liquorice, aromatic spices and toasted oak.
