An 11-year-old Islay single malt from Lagavulin, bottled at a cask strength of 61.5% in a 75cl bottle. It was a private bottling for associates of The Syndicate, the anonymous group of whisky enthusiasts and cask owners behind a handful of Lagavulin releases. This is a single cask bottling, drawn from 1979 vintage stock. Its label closely follows the design of Lagavulin's official Classic Malts bottlings of the period, even though it was a private release and not part of the distillery's own range.
