A 28 year old Lagavulin from 1993, bottled at 50.1% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the last two casks filled in 1993, the year the distillery won the first of many international awards.
The nose opens with redcurrant fruit, followed by sea salt and sweet seaweed. The texture is lightly oily and smooth, leading to a long, mellow finish.
