An eight-year-old Islay single malt from Lagavulin. It was first released in 2016 to mark the distillery's 200th anniversary and was later added to the permanent range. Its pale straw colour is typical of the bottling.
The nose is fresh and clean, with black pepper, milk chocolate, aromatic smoke, lemon, smoked meat and sea air. The palate is oily, with wood smoke, honey, tobacco, pepper, dark chocolate and some spice. The finish has good length, with peat and wood smoke mingling with chocolate and spice.
