Lagg – Corriecravie 50ppm Sherry Cask Finish (70cl, 55%)

Lagg Corriecravie is a heavily peated single malt from the Lagg distillery on the Isle of Arran, made from malt peated to around 50 ppm. It is finished in sherry casks and bottled at 55% in a 70cl bottle. The sherry finish pairs strong peat smoke with dark fruit and a spiced sweetness. The nose shows peat smoke, dark berries, toffee, spice and roasted nuts. The palate has smoke, dried fruit, chocolate, malt and spicy oak. The finish is long, smoky and dry, with sherry sweetness.
