Lagg – Corriecravie Edition Sherry Cask (70cl, 55%)

This is the Corriecravie Edition from Lagg, a single malt matured in sherry casks and bottled at 55% in a 70cl bottle. It is released once a year in a small quantity. Lagg is on the Isle of Arran, where small communities once distilled their own spirit illegally to supplement their income. That whisky, known as Arran Waters, was smuggled out of Lagg and sold on the Scottish mainland. The aromas are described as refined, with chocolate, spice and hazelnut.
